For beginners, there is over 42 wide open, and sunny nursery slopes on which to practise the basics and the ski school here is fantastic value and offer some of the best tuition in Canada too. Whistler is fabulous for families too, they offer a kiddies adventure camp, which teaches them to ski and have fun all at the same time.
Intermediate skiers really are best catered for in whistler, with a massive choice of blues and reds on both mountains, all of which are covered on an all area lift pass. There is mile long runs from peak to town and wide open bowls, it simply is North Americas biggest and best resort for experienced skiers.
Advanced skiers will adore Whistler and Blackcomb, they have it all here from bumps, steep and a massive choice of bowls and chutes all waiting to test your nerve. The off piste skiing here is just fabulous, try heading out with a tour guide and experience the most amazing dry powder conditions along with some of the most nail-biting piste ever.
Whistler is a Mecca to a snowboarder, with 5 different snow parks and some amazing terrain to carve out on. There is glacier skiing and wide steep runs, No boarder will be bored!
The slopes run right down into the village and back to many of the resorts beautiful accommodation, you will find an abundance of lively bars and pubs, a good selection of chic or traditional restaurant and a wealth of shops, there really is something here for everyone.
The non skiers might enjoy trips in to Vancouver, dog sledding, dining on the mountain top restaurants or a sleigh ride, not to mention chilling out in one of the many relaxing health spas dotted around the resort.
